A Tattoo As A Form Of ArtTribal Tattoo Galler

So you want to get a tattoo, huh? Tattoos are a work of art. As a tattoo fanatic myself, I sincerely hope that my website will help you make an intelligent and inspired choice before you decide to get inked!  My favorite tattoos are the Tribal Tattoos and it’s what I specialize in.  However, I have a great appreciation for other types as well and will showcase several other designs on this site.

When choosing a design it might benefit to ask yourself the following questions: What inspires me? What do I aspire to? What gives me strength?

25% of first-time tattoo owners regret their choice of tattoo design so make sure you have high quality designs to choose from.

There are many reasons for choosing a tattoo as a form of self expression.  But no matter what the reason, it’s important that you take the time to choose the perfect design and then to find a reputable artist who practices good sanitation and who is aware of basic tattoo health risks. Ask others where they’ve gotten inked, and remember that each artist has his/her own style. Also, don’t forget to ask the artist about tattoo aftercare products and instructions. There’s no excuse for living the rest of your life with some second rate design that looks bad.  The laser treatment to remove the tattoo is very expensive and doesn’t really remove the tattoo completely.

Things to Look For When Choosing a Tattoo Artist and Parlor

One thing that is even more important than choosing the perfect tattoo design is choosing a clean and reputable tattoo parlor.  There are many things you need to take into consideration before you make this choice.

1.  Do you feel comfortable?  Is the tattoo parlor a relaxed atmosphere?  Are you able to bring a friend along?  Does the tattoo parlor chair look clean and comfortable?

2.  Is the tattoo parlor clean and professional?  When dealing with tattoo needles and human blood, cleanliness is of utmost importance.

3.  The tattoo parlor should be well lit.  This will ensure that you and the artist see the colors well so that you can get an idea of what the finished tattoo will look like.  A dark and dingy parlor is not where you want to be inked.

4.  Does the tattoo artist answer all your questions?  Don’t be afraid to ask any question, no matter if you think it’s stupid or not.

5.  Are the needles and other materials a one-time use?  Are gloves worn?  The needles should be opened up in front of you.  That is the best practice for a professional tattoo artist.

6.  How long has the artist been tattooing?  Do they belong to any professional tattoo artist organizations?

7.  Ask your friends with tattoos where they had it done and if they would recommend the artist or the parlor.

8.  Tattoo artist magazines are a good place for information as well.  You may find an article or advertisement for one in your area.

Remember, this is a permanent investment, be sure to choose the tattoo parlor that is
right for you.
